The first-ever NYC Sevens is just around the corner, and fans are counting down to July 15th when the Red Bull Arena will host some of the best rugby sevens action of the year.

We’ve already introduced the USA and Ireland teams, and today, we are excited to add Kenya to the line-up.

The addition of the Kenyan team, known as the Shujaa, is sure to bring even more excitement to the event. With their unique style of play, Kenya will be a team to watch as they take to the field alongside some of the biggest names in rugby sevens including Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, France, and Fiji.

The Shujaa, which means courage, confidence, bravery and heroism in Swahili, have become a firm fan favorite. The team can be sure their loyal supporters will be right behind them as the compete for the biggest prize offered in rugby sevens history.

The total NYC Sevens prize pot stands at $1 MILLION, so expect the level of play to be at an all-time high and Kenya to be bring their A game.
